Shining Storms trainer was Peter Luttrell.

Storm loosing you was the worst day My family ever had in racing it broke our hearts. You came to us as a baby we broke you in and loved you, the first time we took you to the races we knew we had something special. You had owners that you gave much pleasure and glory to, but it wasnt enough against dads word they wanted you in Melbourne and aginst he's better judgement dad followed, you ran a second in town and done us proud again. But it was to be the start of what was heaven to hell, your owners sent you to Peter Moody and you didnt do very well, so after sometime you came back to us, your owners wanted you in the derby so we went about getting you ready, and then came the day.

You was a big handfull before you raced and now when we look back you ws most likly trying to tell us something. You went out on the track with David Pires on you they put you in the barriers and you jumped you got down aroud the first turn and something went wrong Dave pulled you out of the race. You kepy going to the back straight till he pulled you up. I couldnt wait for the race to be ovr to get around to see what was wrong with you, mum and I was running to be at yourside when our worst nightmare was confirmed.

Oh Storm you stood do tall, and so beautifull with this auroar over the top of you, then the vet put you to sleep, mum and I kneeled to the ground and kissed you goodbye. To leave your side with just your bridle. You gave dad he's greatest achievement in racing and for that he will always love you. thank you our champ for the memories. RIP
