Maiden galloper Variety Queen (AUS) shifted out sharply at the 400m bend, and continued to lay out, where she slippped and fell into the outside running rail. She suffered fatal injuries in the incident, Ipswich 4th of July 2008.

I saw this on TVN, filly just ran off the track, slipped and went straight through the fence. Happened so fast.
