Three year old filly Bomb Attack (AUS) went crazy in the barriers prior to the start of the race, and suffered some severe injuries. She was removed from the gates and quickly euthanased as a result, Nowra, 24th of May 2009.

I own a horse who ran in that race. It was the most horrific thing I have ever seen. There were not enough barrier attendants to look after the horses. I commented about her at the tie ups that she was a beautiful filly bless her heart.
