In his first ever start, two year old Declamation (AUS) raced poorly, finishing last. A post race vet examination revealed he had suffered a fractured pelvis and he was euthanased, Gold Coast 6th of June 2009. In a later race on the same card, Little Shrewdy (AUS) was also euthanased (see post).
