Yoshi Raaza (AUS)

Black gelding 2002 – 30/6/2010, by Tayasu Tsuyoshi (JPN) ex Azadaar
Trainer: ???????????
Owners: Mrs DF Schultz, Dr BG Schultz
50 1-1-3 $16,925 Stakes AU
Murray Bridge ~ 1600m Maiden
Following the race, seven year old gelding Yoshi Raaza (AUS) was examined by the on-course veterinary surgeon and was diagnosed with a broken near side pelvis. Due to this injury, the gelding was euthanased on track, 30/6/2010.

In over five years of racing, Yoshi Raaza failed to win a race. That was until late May when Yoshi Raaza won a steeplechase at Casterton that was later declared a no-race as the race was marred by the death of Prince Vitality (AUS).

But Yoshi Razza was not to be denied victory for any longer, winning at his next start at the same venue on June 20 in the $15,000 Pot A Round Garden Centre Maiden Steeplechase (3800m).
