Empire Street (AUS) was eased out of the race near the 500m mark, with a bowed near fore tendon. His fate was unknown for several months, I can now confirm he was euthanased at a later date when it was decided his recovery was not going well.

Empire Street was put down after the owners found his recovery was not going well, trainer and staff were saddned by his passing, he was a great stable character
