RIP Juste Momente
Like to make a mention of a great mare, Group one winning Juste Momente who died earlier this month after a bout of colic. The five year old grey won the Robert Sangster Stakes Group I, and earned over half a million in prize money.
The only Group 1 winner by Giant's Causeway in Australia, Juste Momente was one of the most valuable mares in the country and was set to make her stud debut this year.

Flying filly Angst graced our lives for a short time many years ago, in a short career she won 7 races, 5 in succession, and remains the only winner of the Sydney "Princess Series", which comprises of wins in the Gr2 Tea Rose Stakes, Gr2 Silver Shadow Stakes, and the Gr1 AJC Flight Stakes. All set to have a huge spring, Angst sadly never woke from an operation to remove bone chips from her knees.
* Angst was brought to my attention by a reader of this website, and I give my thanks. Too many horses like Angst are forgotten about all too quickly, so fast that details become sketchy and hard to find. In working together, we can honour and remember many horses in this way. Thank-you!
