On 3/2/05, a mare called Little Memsahib struck her head badly on the top of the barriers after being loaded, causing her to collapse. Her head injuries were so severe that she was euthanased on the track. She won a few sprint races with her big late bursts of speed and was only quite lightly raced when she died.
