In recognition of Australia's Fallen Racehorses, most of which are never reported. All these horses were important to someone, and deserve some recognition for thier efforts.Viewer input is encouraged and welcomed, please email me with any queries, corrections or additional fallen horses which have been missed.
I get quite frustrated when a few readers automatically assume this is an anti horse racing website. This could not be further from the truth.
Your comments will not be posted, please take your opinions to the racing forums. Horses and racing are my life, help me keep this as a memorial for ALL our fallen horses, so they need not be forgotten.
This site is NOT run to provide figures for anti-racing groups, but rather for owners, trainers and strappers to remember thier fallen friends.

Thanks to Peter Gelagotis for preparing and training Crying Storm. He was an honest horse with a big heart right to the end and deserves immense credit for performing at the top level on the flat and over the jumps. He was destined for bigger things and we are blessed to have owned such a good horse and he will never be forgotten by us at all and we will cherish all the friendships made and the great moments he provided on the track. RIP to our champion horse never to be forgotten.

How terrific of you guys to acknowledge your beautiful horse like this. I hope you are putting this on as many racing forums as you can.
If we can soften up only one hard-hearted punter, well that's a plus.
Not enough recognition is paid to those that die on the job - a job they don't choose, and most do to the best of their ability. Usually their names are just ignored in news reports as you probably know. That's why I consider this site so special.
