Canyouhearthebell (AUS) broke down near the 1100m mark and was eased out of the race, he was euthanased on track due to the extent of his injuries 13th of December, 2009.
I get quite frustrated when a few readers automatically assume this is an anti horse racing website. This could not be further from the truth.
