Three year old filly Burns Bright broke down and blundered near the 500m mark and dislodged her jockey. She was euthanased due to the injury she sustained, 19th of February 2010.
I get quite frustrated when a few readers automatically assume this is an anti horse racing website. This could not be further from the truth.
